WhatsApp Business API

Preparation

Before connecting the channel, you need to prepare the following information:

  • Brand display name

  • Your company's legal corporate name

  • Your company's official address

  • Log in using your Facebook account and use this account to configure your WhatsApp Business account

  • Use a phone number that has not been registered with WhatsApp to receive the verification code

After completing the preparation, click on "Register Account" or "Register Phone Number" on the [Channel Management Page - WhatsApp] to proceed

Register WhatsApp API Account

Navigate to the guided registration page, click "login with Facebook" to open the Facebook account login pop-up

Click "Continue as xxx" to log in with your Facebook account

Select your Meta Business account and continue

Choose "Other", and fill in your website (Not Mandatory)

Enter a number you have never registered with WhatsApp, choose a verification method, and continue

Enter the verification code to complete the process

Set Channel Name

After verification, return to the EC CRM system to fill in the channel name and complete the setup

Set Template

After connecting the channel, users can manage the message templates under the channel (create, edit, delete, preview)

When creating a template, users need to first select the template type, fill in the template name, and choose the template language

Then, users can set the template content (selecting titles, bodies, footers, and buttons)

In addition, users can set templates in multiple languages, edit template names, switch template types, and preview templates
